This year, the Rotary Club of Blackwood Art Show celebrates its 41st exhibition and is seen very much as a permanent part of the local calendar of events. This year we are again accepting Photography as well as Sculpture.

 

We believe that our Art Show provides both an opportunity for artists, photographers and sculptors to exhibit their works to our local community and to encourage the support of the arts within our community. In 2024 a third of the artwork entered was sold – a great endorsement of the quality of the art presented, and local support for the artistic community. As important, is that the sale of paintings and photographs has raised significant funds for allocation to community projects that are “making a difference” for many groups and/or individuals. It is also encouraging that we still enjoy the support of a number of artists who exhibited with us at our first Art show way back in 1984.
